1-hour professionally guided beginner mermaid experience — tail + monofin fundamentals, safe equipment use, underwater movement, beginner breath fundamentals, and mermaid skills & tricks. With Mermaid Julia Alora, Certified PADI Mermaid Instructor. No experience required; must swim independently.

Mermaid Julia Alora
Certified PADI Mermaid Instructor, Advanced Scuba Diver and professional snorkeling guide based in Puerto Rico. She also works in marine conservation, helping protect the island's coral reefs. Julia guides every Selva Sirena Experience with genuine care, safety and a love for the ocean — helping you discover the confidence and wonder of becoming a mermaid. No previous experience required; independent swimming ability is mandatory.
Tanya — Sol Pilates
Led by Tanya from Sol Pilates, with over 14 years of dedicated Pilates practice and a foundation as a certified instructor. She has trained bodies of all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities, and believes true strength is adaptive and accessible to everyone. In her 60-minute Siren Pilates Acuático class — held in the oceanfront pool — she blends resistance and fluid movement to build your core control, length and balance, in and out of the water.
Make It a Full Mermaid Getaway
Selva Boutique Hotel is an intimate 17-room, adults-only oceanfront hotel in Luquillo — close to Luquillo Beach, the kiosks and El Yunque. Registered guests get easy access to scheduled activities and a relaxed place to recharge between sessions.
Rooms are limited, and event activities book separately.

How do session times work?
Choose your experience and check out securely. We confirm your exact session time with you by WhatsApp (787-988-3454) shortly after payment.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes — independent swimming ability is mandatory for the Selva Sirena Experience. It is a real swim in a pool roughly four to five feet deep. Prefer to stay dry? The beach photo shoot never requires getting in the water.
Are tails and monofins provided?
Yes — tail and monofin use are included in the Selva Sirena Experience. A mermaid tail is included with the beach photo shoot too.
Are photos included?
Only with the Mermaid Beach Mini Photo Shoot ($39) — approximately 10–15 photos at Playa Fortuna. The Selva Sirena Experience itself does not include photography unless you book a package.
Is this only for hotel guests?
No. General event admission is free and open to the public. The paid experiences book separately, no matter where you are staying.
Is everything included in one ticket?
No — the Selva Sirena Experience, Siren Pilates Acuático and Mermaid Beach Mini Photo Shoot are each separate. Book a package (or The Full Siren Experience) to bundle them and save.
What should I bring?
Bring a secure swimsuit, towel and optional change of clothes. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your reserved activity.
What is the minimum age?
18+ for every paid experience.
