Selva Boutique Hotel – Terms & Conditions

By booking a stay at Selva Boutique Hotel (“Hotel”), you (“Guest”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:


1. General Policy

  • The Hotel is adults-only (18+).

  • For Direct reservations:
    Check-in: 2:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM

  • For Third party reservations (Expedia, Booking.com, etc):
    Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM

  • Early check-in or late check-out depends on reservation type and availability, may incur a fee.

  • A valid government-issued photo ID and credit card are required at check-in.

  • The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service to any guest not complying with these Terms.


2. Reservations & Payments

  • All rates are in USD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • Full payment or a deposit is required at booking time.

  • Reservations are only confirmed after payment is received and confirmation is issued.


3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • For Standard Flexible Rate Direct bookings: Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in unless otherwise stated.

  • Within 7 days: 100% of total booking amount charged.

  • No-shows: 100% charge.

  • Non-Refundable Save rates for both Direct and OTA bookings are strictly non-refundable.


4. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must respect peace, comfort, and safety; no disruptive behavior.

  • Smoking prohibited inside rooms and enclosed public areas; designated outdoor area available.

  • Cleaning fee of $250 for violation inside rooms or covered hotel areas.

  • Only registered guests may occupy rooms; visitors require hotel approval.


5. Pet Policy

  • Pet-friendly for dogs & cats; non-refundable pet fee of $30 per stay (direct), $30 per night (OTA).

  • Pets must be leashed in public and unattended pets are prohibited in rooms.

  • Guests responsible for pet cleanup and any damage.


6. Damage & Liability

  • Guests responsible for damages caused.

  • Hotel not liable for loss, theft, or personal injury beyond reasonable care.

  • Pool and facilities used at guest's own risk.


7. Facilities & Services

  • Pool open 24/7; noise restricted after 10:00 PM.

  • Complimentary filtered water, coffee, tea available in lobby.

  • Purchases in lobby via QR code or front desk payment.

  • Concierge services upon request.


8. Force Majeure

  • Hotel not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond control (pandemics, natural disasters, government action).


9. Governing Law

  • These Terms governed by Puerto Rico laws.


10. SMS Terms & Conditions

  • By consenting to receive SMS from Selva Boutique Hotel, you agree to receive operational messages for booking and stay management.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Consent may be revoked anytime by texting STOP. For support, text HELP.


11. Accuracy of Guest Information & Chargebacks

  • Guests must provide accurate contact details including email, phone, and billing address.

  • OTA guests must update masked or third-party provided emails via pre-check-in form.

  • The Hotel reserves the right to contest chargebacks using booking records and guest agreements.

  • Chargebacks may incur fees recoverable from guests.

  • Booking constitutes a binding contract including these Terms & Conditions.


12. Agreement to Terms

  • Completing your booking or pre-check-in confirms your acceptance of these Terms.

  • No physical signature is required; online acceptance is binding.

  • Guests unable to agree should cancel before completing booking.
